Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information JMM Florida LLC ("we") collects when you use jmmflorida.shop, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers every page of this website and every service we operate from it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

1. What we collect

• Orders. When you buy something, checkout happens on Shopify. Shopify collects your name, email address, shipping address, phone number and payment details and shares the order information (not your full payment card details) with us so we can make and ship your order. Anything you type on a product page for your order (engraving text, a name to print, a custom-order description, a note for the maker) travels with the order to Shopify. Shopify's handling of your data is described in the Shopify Customer Privacy Policy.
• Custom order requests. When you send the custom-order form, we store what you enter (name, email, optional phone, the description of the piece) and any photos you attach, on our own hosting account. Photos are re-encoded and their location and camera data removed before they are stored. We use requests only to reply and quote.
• Messages. When you call, text, WhatsApp, email or message us on Instagram, we receive whatever you send us — typically your name, contact details, order number and the details of your request (for example, scent preferences or a description of a broken printer).
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically records standard web-server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. We use these only to keep the site running and secure.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages and products viewed, when checkout is started, when a custom-order request is sent, which contact buttons are tapped). It never receives what you type into a form. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes your IP address in a truncated form. See Google's Privacy Policy.

2. What we use it for

• To make, ship and support your order, including replying about custom details.
• To answer your questions and schedule service visits.
• To keep the website secure and available.
• To comply with tax, accounting and legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who we share it with

• Shopify, which runs our checkout and stores order records.
• Payment processors chosen by Shopify (for example Shop Pay, PayPal or card networks); we never see your full card number.
• Shipping carriers, who receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.
• Service providers that host our website and email (Hostinger, Google).
• Authorities when the law requires it.

4. Cookies

Our own pages set no cookies. Shopify's checkout sets the cookies it needs to complete your purchase. Google Analytics sets analytics cookies; you can block them with your browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

5. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require (generally seven years). Messages are kept as long as needed to help you and then deleted. Server logs are rotated by our hosting provider on a short schedule.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law. Email jmmfloridashop@gmail.com with the address you used and we will respond within 30 days. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws (such as California) may exercise the rights those laws provide through the same address.

7. Children

Our products are sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Payment is handled entirely by Shopify's PCI-compliant checkout. Our own records are kept in password-protected accounts accessible only to the family.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
